The American Physical Society, founded in 1899, selects Fellows each year to recognize members who have significantly advanced the study of physics. 临时副总裁 迈克尔•杰克逊 (Academic Affairs) has been selected for this distinct honor.

The citation reads: “For serving as a co-chair in the effort to develop and complete the inaugural version of the Effective Practices for Physics Programs (EP3) Guide that is actively aiding physics departments in their work to improve undergraduate 物理教育.”
